MASON, OH – Jumping Jack Press, the pop-up book imprint from Up With Paper, announced that its second Easter pop-up book, Easter Parade, will begin shipping to retail in February.
The 6.25” square book features seven fully illustrated spreads of amazing pop-ups, highlighted with glitter and spot-UV.  The book has a suggested retail price of $14.95.
Easter Parade is the seventh title, and second Easter book, from Jumping Jack Press, and introduces the writing team of Andrea Green and Stephanie Prysiazniuk, as well as illustrator Michiyo Nelson.  Renee Jablow, who engineered the pop-ups for the company’s Kirby the Easter Dog title, also provided her paper engineering talents to the new book, under the creative direction of Monika Brandrup.
Easter Parade follows a unique Easter celebration in a small town populated solely by animals.  Marching raccoons, acrobatic chipmunks, dancing chicks and other animals contribute their fantastic talents, leading up to the star of the show: the Easter Bunny, on his own festive float. The designs and pop-ups provide humor and unexpected surprises that will delight pop-up book fans of all ages.“We are certainly gratified at the response to our books, from consumers to retailers, to the juried competition of the Moonbeam Awards,” said George White, president of Up With Paper.

“Easter has been a particularly successful holiday for us, so we thought it was time to introduce a second title.  We will be doing the same with Christmas later this year.”
With the release of Easter Parade, Up With Paper and Jumping Jack Press are offering a variety of display programs to specialty retailers for Easter, enabling them to merchandise any combination of the two Easter titles in a 12-book counter display, or any combination of the two titles in a display that also features six pop-up Easter card designs.Jumping Jack Press was founded in 2007 as the pop-up book imprint of Up With Paper.  Originally founded as PopShots, Inc., in 1978, Up With Paper has been recognized for design excellence more than 55 times with the International Greeting Card Association’s highest honor, the “LOUIE” award, including the “Card of the Year” LOUIE Award in 2005 for the company’s first Tres Panache design.  Up With Paper’s products are available in thousands of specialty retail outlets throughout the United States and around the world, and may be seen on the company’s website at www.upwithpaper.com.  Spreads from books created by Jumping Jack Press, which has now claimed three consecutive Moonbeam Awards for Best Pop-Up Book (Gold medals for Halloween at the Zoo in 2007 and Kirby’s Derby in 2009, and a Silver medal for Splish Splash Dog Bash in 2008) may be viewed on the imprint’s website at www.jumpingjackpress.com
