NEW YORK – Up With Paper, the world’s leading marketer of innovative three dimensional greeting cards, announced a new 12-pocket counter spinner for its popular line of Pop-Up Notepads at the 2011 National Stationery Show today.  The new display, which holds 12 different designs plus two open samples to showcase the line, is available now.
Up With Paper’s Pop-Up Notepad line has grown dramatically since its introduction in 2009, and now includes more than 30 designs, including three being introduced at the show.  With a durable cover that snaps shut with a magnetic closure, and a 100-page notepad produced from post-consumer waste recycled stock, each Pop-Up Notepad is designed to be a readily available accessory to record the newest idea—any time and anywhere.  The notepads are 3.25 x 4.5-inch in diameter and 0.75-inch thick, and fit easily into any purse or pocket.
The Pop-Up Notepad line, which is available exclusively in the specialty card and gift market, may be merchandised on store shelves, in a nine-design counter corrugate unit, or in the new countertop display.  The notepads have a suggested retail price of $4.99.
“Market reaction to our Pop-Up Notepads line has been terrific,” said George White, president of Up With Paper.  “This was our fastest growing line in 2010, so we needed a larger, permanent display to better showcase the product at retail.  We tested this design in 200 stores over the last six months, and the sales increase was impressive.  We now look forward to getting this display into more specialty stores in the coming months”

The notepads include a variety of designs, created under the eye of Up With Paper Creative Director, Monika Brandrup, to fit the style and mood of a broad cross-section of consumers.  New designs being launched at the show include notepads featuring wine bottles, dragonflies, and bird cages.
